We had a successful workday on Sunday with two new volunteers and several old faces! Fortunately the weather was kind.
The group were working at the top of the site in Rhydyblewinn meadow. They cut back the encroaching saplings which were spreading across the meadow, and formed a good hedge to shelter creatures in the winter.
Others widened the path and cleared vegetation from the entrance to the site . We also tidied up round the fruit trees which were planted by Llanishen High school pupils a few years ago.
