Yet again, the weather was perfect for an autumn workday. A group of 15 volunteers turned out to work in Rhydypennau woods.
The back path has become extremely wet and muddy and some alder matting was laid in some of the worst areas. One of the bridges was also improved to avoid it becoming too slippery.
Others turned their attention to the laurel trees - recognised as an invasive species in this area. These were cut down (as was a small Leylandii) and broken up. As usual, the overgrowth had to be cut back.
