Cardiff High School get to work!

The excellent plant growth this year proved a mixed blessing! The meadows and woodlands have flourished, sometimes a bit too much.
Friday, November 14th saw a group from the Friends, plus teachers and Y7 pupils from Cardiff High, working alongside each other in the meadow alongside the school.
The brambles and undergrowth had grown so well that it had hidden the many trees planted two years ago for the Queen's jubilee.

Two hours of toil saw the emergence of the lost trees, and an increase of meadow land for the flowers next year.

We were also able to remove some self seeded trees which were taking over central areas.

Many thanks to all who made the most of the Autumn sunshine.
