A bit of occasional drizzle didn't deter the 15 volunteers who came prepared to do their bit!
As Ivor and Paul went off to check the drainage, the rest of us turned our attention to the trees and brambles in the area behind the notice board.
The overgrown corner in the old car park was cut back to uncover a large open area.
Tackling the trees was a more perilous task, for both the cutters and the by-standers!
As is customary, the mulled wine (thank you Kevin - it did seem a bit stronger this year?) and mince pies (thank you Mary) were gratefully received.
2014 has been a very productive year and we look forward to carrying out a large number of projects in 2015, some of them already well into the planning stage. If you haven't already done so, why not come and join us? - make it your New Year resolution!
