Our Wildlife Explorer Trail is launched

At 10.30 on May 21st 2014 the Nant Fawr Community Woodlands Wildlife Explorer Trail was declared officially open by Councillor Kate Lloyd.

Pupils and teachers from the Ecogroup Councils of  Rhydypenau Primary, Coedglas Primary and Lakeside Primary Schools gathered with some of the Friends group committee in the sunshine (yes, the weather was perfect!) to launch the Trail. Three groups then set off, booklets and crayons in hand, to try to navigate the course using the map. An hour later, we all met to mark the event with our chairperson, Jane Williams, presenting the schools with certificates celebrating their participation. Thank you to all who were involved in making this a memorable event.
