Workday, November 26th 2017

On a bright November morning, 22 volunteers turned up at Heol Esgyn. This is the time of year that the ditches and drainage need to be sorted, in anticipation of the weather to come.

The 6 Welsh Baccalaurate volunteers continued the cutting back of vegetation in the High School meadow.

Elsewhere, some of the Friends cut back some dying and dead branches of trees from the entrance area, and some invasive laurel in the meadow.

A couple of intrepid volunteers got into the Nant Fawr itself to clear blockages.
We also planted some of the TVC trees, mainly in areas cleared after the removal of trees brought down by high winds earlier this year.
