KWT litter picking, Wednesday 19th April

Eleven people, armed with litter pickers and rubbish bags (held open by a very nifty device) met at Rhydypenau library.

 We tackled the Oval area, including the roads around, and the entrance area in to the Nant Fawr next to Cardiff High School. An hour later, a number of bags were collected for disposal!

Conclusions:

• A large amount of soft fizzy drinks and take away food is consumed in the area
• There is a need for more (larger) bins
