The first task tackled was the bird viewing platform. Many of the the wooden structures had fallen off or needed replacing and the stronger element of the work force got to work (including Stephen I'm told, although all the photos don't reflect this!)
The children build some more bee houses and set them out in the hedges around the meadows.
The rest off us got digging (and chatting) as we prepared the ground in Rhydyblewin meadow for the Grow Wild seeds we received from Kew Gardens (using lottery funding).
The plots sown last year also show signs of flower growth and we hope to make this an annual event so that we can gradually expand the area.
