Many thanks to the 18 volunteers who turned up today; despite the forecast we enjoyed a dry couple of hours.
Again, we split up into groups. The first group tackled the paths - some of the paths have deteriorated over the Winter and bark was transported and laid in an attempt to improve conditions underfoot.
Another group painted the kissing gate and fence next to the reservoir car park. Nice look Tom!
The third group included the children; We build and placed 5 bee boxes. These tubes accommodate solitary bees and help to encourage the pollinators.
We than prepared 4 areas of soil and scattered some of the Grow Wild seeds. This will increase biodiversity and provide a colourful display later this year.
