Floods in Nant Fawr meadows

Many of you will have noticed the flooding problems which have occurred in our meadows following the recent heavy rainfall. We are pleased to learn that, following  discussions between Welsh Water and our Community Ranger, Welsh Water have agreed to pump the water from the Dip into Llanishen Reservoir. Cardiff Council will then install an open grated manhole to allow the water to drain from the area.
The flooded path beside the Boggy Meadow is more difficult to resolve, but will hopefully start to drain away soon once we have some drier weather.
