A Successful Workday

We had a good work day last Sunday! The weather was kind to us and we had a turnout of 18 altogether. We cut back undergrowth, rescuing saplings planted last year, and the stronger members were able to move our mosaic of a heron to a new position.  It had been on our bird viewing platform since it was made by our former Ranger, Cassie, but as the platform is being demolished, we needed to find a new home for it.   Now it rests in front of our noticeboard beside the farmhouse.
