The Cardiff University biologists will be there along with the Cardiff Council Rangers to help the young people catch creatures in the stream and then examine them with magnifying glasses.
The RSPB will be attending, to encourage insect sweeping with nets in the meadow.
You can follow the Explorer Trail or carry out a Scavenger Hunt (with prizes)
All children must be accompanied by an adult and wellies are the order of the day. Why not bring a picnic lunch?
