Rhian Jones has been one of our most active and creative volunteers for the past six years
She has amongst other things been our liaison officer with the local schools, which included planning work activities for the children. She also organized wildlife surveys, managed our website, wrote our newsletters, applied for grants for plants and tools and acted as our publicity officer. This huge input was recognized in 2014 when she was voted the “Volunteer of the Year” award by the Cardiff Parks Department. Here is a picture of her receiving that award.
Sadly, Rhian is moving home and has decided with other interests beckoning that it is time to move on. She will be greatly missed.
