We have been very fortunate to receive a grant for £1,000 from Greggs. This money has been spent on buying plants, plugs and seeds for five of the entrances to the Nant Fawr area. We have been careful to buy species native to the area, with the exception of some plants for our Bee and Butterfly Border (BBB) in Rhydypenau Park.
The first session was carried out by Ton yr Ywen school; the two entrances on either side of Rhydypenau Rd and the BBB were planted by this enthusiastic group!
Another session on Tuesday saw Rhydypenau School plant the area around the entrance from Heol Estyn.
