Funding for Parks consultation - please take a moment to read this?

Cardiff has four parks that have benefitted from this funding and we pride ourselves on our wealth of green spaces. Grants and funding are difficult to come by and the value of our parks cannot be underestimated.

The following is from Cardiff Council’s Parks Department:

"HLF funding is changing and it is going to effect the grants available to Parks in the future. I’ve also included a link to the 38degrees campaign about the same subject and would encourage people to sign it as well as circulate it round your networks.

It would be useful if you can email the HLF CEO Ros.kerslake@hlf.org.uk and copy in the minister for HLF https://www.gov.uk/government/people/matthew-Hancock and copy in  the Parks Minister https://www.gov.uk/government/people/rishi-sunak
38degrees petition "Protect Heritage Lottery Funding for Parks" . The more support we can get behind it, the better chance we have of succeeding. You can read more and sign the petition here:
