Work Day, August 27th 2017

The sun shone; a Bank Holiday without rain! Fourteen (and a half – thank you for being so good Chloe!) turned out to carry out a major clearance of the Bee and Butterfly border in Rhydypenau Park.
Kevin had the advantage of the power tools while the rest of us slogged away with shears, scythe, and rake. We also planted some donations from people’s gardens.

The main find of the day was a moth larva; Nant Fawr’s habitat continues to surprise!

Also, thank you to our support team!
