As we walked up to Rhydypenau Rd some of the features and management of the meadows and Woods Covert were pointed out.

The Friends of Nant Fawr and Roath Park Walk 2017
It was a relief to see the showers took a break as 25 walkers met in Roath Park for this year's walk. As we strolled through the Wild Gardens we stopped to learn more about its management and origin.
We then entered the Nant Fawr area next to Cardiff High School.
As we walked up to Rhydypenau Rd some of the features and management of the meadows and Woods Covert were pointed out.
We continued into Rhydypenau Woods and through Cliff's Walk at which point we turned back and returned to Roath Park.
