“Boggy” was an understatement – Woods Covert had areas which
were under water. The drains were dug out to allow the water to run off a
little better but this will still be an area best tackled in wellies for some
time.
Another work party tackled the undergrowth in the High
School meadow. It is now a more continuous clear area besides the path which
will make it easier to maintain and more pleasant to walk alongside.
It was also Alan’s 50th birthday and the cakes
were enjoyed at the refreshment break :)
